Eating Plans

In the menu above I have a variety of eating plans. The eating plan that I am on and that I believe is great is eating a whole food plant based diet with no oil or sugar. Call me and I can help you with any plan that you want to implement.

I have a cookbook and recipes on-line to help you get started. They are all healthy and most are vegan.

Recipe of the Week

Mushroom Gravy

1 onion, minced
6 white button mushrooms, chopped
2-1/2 cups vegetable broth
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbl cooking sherry
2 Tbl tamari or soy sauce
1 Tbl nutritional yeast flakes
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Brown mushrooms and onions in 1/2 cup vegetable broth. Add nutritional yeast, garlic, sherry, soy sauce and cook for another minute. Add the flour to the remaining 2 cups of vegetable stock. I use brown rice flour because it does not clump Mix it well and add to pan. Simmer till thick about 10 minutes. This is very delicious. We eat it often.
