Raw Raspberry Brownies

Raw Raspberry Brownies-grain and gluten free and vegan (serves 8)

3/4 cup raw almonds
1 cup dates
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
Dash of vanilla

For the Raspberry Topping:

1 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen)
2 Tbl raw honey (or pure maple syrup)
1-1/2 Tbl chia seeds

Prepare a loaf pan by lining with plastic wrap or wax paper. Process the almonds in a food processor until fine. Pour nuts into a bowl and process dates. Break the dates up and sprinkle the nuts back into the food processor along with the cocoa powder, sald and vanilla. Pour into a loaf pan and press down. Pour mashed raspberries, sweetener and chia seeds. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
